The core of excellence at QSIS is the talented faculty of teachers and administrators. The school administration consists of a Director and a Director of Instruction, both of whom hold Master degrees in education and have extensive teaching experience.
The teaching faculty numbers 22 persons. Nearly 50% of our core classroom teachers and administrators hold advanced degrees with an average of over 12 years of teaching experience. All teachers hold or are working towards internationally recognized teaching licenses. The school retains teaching staff from across the globe, with the largest percentage of teachers being U.S. citizens. However the school does have a diverse faculty with teachers from 6 other nationalities, including staff from Europe, Australia, Canada, and the Far East. The teachers at QSIS are dedicated professionals with a commitment to on-going development, as demonstrated by frequent attendance at regional and international conferences, AP training, and subject-specific workshops. QSI faculty range in age from 25-58, with an average and median age of about 39. There are approximately the same number of male and female teachers and the majority of teachers are married. The school administration is committed to constantly upgrading the quality of the staff with each year’s recruiting cycle.
